Introduction to Educational Psychology CLEP Test Description
The Introduction to Educational Psychology CLEP test covers the information that is taught in one semester introductory course at the college level. It covers principles of learning, classroom management, the emotional, psychological and biological growth of a child. This test covers all the major theories having to do with psychology and development.

Introduction to Educational Psychology is great for students to take, especially those with children as you will be familiar with the context. Also, Educational Psychology has some overlap with Introductory Psychology. Not only will you be studying Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs or Freud’s Psychosexual theory, but you will need to know about memory, how the mind works, motivation, and creativity.

You will be tested on research design, how experiments work, different types of research, surveys, longitudinal research, etc. You’ll also need to know case studies and all about testing.

It is important to understand that you do not have to answer each and every question correct to get a passing score. You need to get 50 of 100 correct (in most cases) to pass. The people the write the CLEP tests want you to know about half of the information to get a passing score.
